So there are more summer movies. If you’ve been following, we’ve already got:

And now they’re releasing the schedule to the relocated Summer Screen series. It’s been moved from McCarren Pool to the McCarren Ballfields. They’re playing six films: Reality Bites, Evil Dead 2, 24 Hour Party People, Wild at Heart, Fame and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. See the schedule here. If you play your cards right, you can see a movie outside every day this summer and never spend any money.

McCarren Park’s Summer Screen starts off this evening with the camp comedy Wet Hot American Summer. While the view isn’t as nice as Bryant Park or Brooklyn Bridge Park, the movies are more fun and the drinking policy is nice and relaxed. Bring your own six-pack tonight and check it out.

               If you want to smear mud on your ass, then smear mud on your ass.

McCarren Park Pool released their summer film schedule yesterday. We went to a film or two out here last year, and while the atmosphere and view aren’t as nice as the Brooklyn Bridge Park series, there are fewer people there (you don’t have to worry about showing up early) and it’s much more relaxed. The films this year are a nice mix of dramas and comedies.
