The poster for Richard Gere’s new movie Hachiko: A Dog’s Story was just released. And it’s kind of intense. He really likes that dog. A lot. According to IMDB the movie is based on “the true story of a college professor’s bond with the abandoned dog he takes into his home.” Honestly, this poster is totally more romantic than any of these posters. I also like how Joan Allen was totally not good enough to be on this poster. How does that feel Joan Allen? You’re the third wheel in a movie about Richard Gere and his dog.

No gerbil jokes, you guys.

“Joan Allen” is a mistranslation of “soft puppy that resembles a pig when you look at it quickly” in japanese
